Camerasmith was set up by award winning cameraman Mark Smith to deliver camera, sound and edit courses to camera operators, journalists and production staff across the UK.

Camerasmith has worked extensively with ITV NEWS since 2008 in designing and delivering video journalist courses to all ITV reporters. More recently the broadcast courses have been extended to UTV, STV and CHANNEL TV.

Although broadcast technology is evolving at an ever-increasing rate the core skills of storytelling with pictures and sound never change. We can ensure you develop the necessary technical and creative skills to engage with an audience on any platform. Our courses have been awarded a skillset tick from the industry training body CREATIVE SKILLSET.

Camerasmith has a training facility at Salford Media City but can also deliver courses at a location to suit you.
